Erik Brumley, a 46-year-old South Lyon man was arraigned on October 6, 2018 at the 34th District Court on multiple counts including Home Invasion, Felonious Assault, Kidnapping and Unlawful Imprisonment. 

The charges, as authorized by the Wayne County Prosecutors Office, stem from a home invasion that occurred in Northville Township just before 6:00 am on October 3, 2018.

Brumley’s bond was set at one million dollars (no 10% provision). Brumley’s next court appearance is scheduled for Friday, October 19, 2018 at the 35th District Court. Brumley is currently lodged at the Wayne County Jail.

The Northville Township Police Department would like to thank the alert citizens that observed and reported suspicious activities following the home invasion. The vigilance of the citizens contributed significantly to the quick arrest of Brumley a short time after the crime was committed.
